3D Modeling with Blender - The Basics

Event Type: MakerStudio
Age Group(s): Adults (18+), 13-17 years (Teen)
Date: 1/31/2018
Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Time: 8:30 PM
Description:
An introductory course to Blender, a powerful opensource 3D modeling software. Blender is capable of creating high resolution 3d models, computer graphic movies, photo-realistic renders, 3d physics based games, and more.

While this is an introductory course to Blender, it is not for the fainthearted. Anyone can learn to do 3D modeling, but a working knowledge of computers is needed, as well as patience, and curiosity.

We will be learning about the Blender interface, creating basic shapes, and simple lighting techniques. Future classes will cover animation, texture mapping, 3D printing objects, and all the other fun things Blender can do.

Come unlock the possibilities Blender holds for you. You can learn more at Blender.org now and get started yourself.
