Event Type: Adults|
Start Time: 10:00 AM
End Time: 11:00 AM
The stock market has its ups and downs, buffeted by perceptions. However, over the long haul good companies are always profitable. How does the investor determine which stock to buy? This program is for individuals interested in learning a process for determining if a stock is a good buy.Library: Sulphur Regional Library Click here for branch information
In this session, designed for beginners, we will introduce you to a relatively-simple process that enables an investor to identify the characteristics of a growth stock, and plot potential future growth from the historical trends. The Stock Selection Guide (SSG, as it is known) also helps an investor determine a reasonable value for the stock, suggesting purchase when the stock is temporarily on the cheap side of a value assessment.
This program is presented by the Louisiana-Mississippi Chapter of BetterInvesting, a non-profit, volunteer-based, member-driven organization for investor education.
