The oboe, an important orchestral instrument today, was often played in solo recitals in the Baroque period. Frederick Katzenberg, renowned oboist, accompanied by pianist Gary Klein, his musical partner of 30 years, helps revive the oboe's reputation as a noteworthy solo recital instrument. They will be performing compositions from J.S. Bach, Debussy, Chopin, Bellini, Vadala, Falla, and Vivaldi.
