This year marks the 50th anniversary of Cyclone Althea devastating the North Queensland Coast on the Christmas Eve of 1971. Come and share your Althea recollections of the storm and its aftermath, view our photographic exhibition, and listen to the stories of others there on the day. Local producer Kate Osborne will be facilitating the community led event and providing support for storytellers.
