Title of Book or Name of Activity
Playing for the Commandant, by Suzy Zail
3 Sentences
This story documents a Jewish girl during the Holocaust. She is uprooted from her life and taken to a concentration camp. However she is a very talented pianist and is given the job of playing for the commandant, which keeps her safe. Throughout the novel she struggles to support her sister and with her feelings towards the commandant's son.
Best/Worst Thing
I liked how this book was set during the Holocaust and explores those issues deeply, but also made the book relatable because Hanna was just a teenager.

Title of Book or Name of Activity
Graceful by Wendy Mass
3 Sentences
This book is another book in the eleven birthdays series. It is a good book because the story is from Grace's point of view after she has taken on Angelina's role. If you liked any of the other Wendy Mass books you will probably like this one.
Best/Worst Thing
**Spoiler alert!**

The best thing is that in the end they all see their futures.

Paper Towns by John Green
3 Sentences
Paper Towns by John Green is about a girl who runs away right before her senior graduation. Her friends search all over the state (florida) and country for her. She left a series of subtle clues for her friends to follow in order to find her. But does she want to be found?

I highly recommend this book.
Best/Worst Thing
MY favorite part of the book is at the begining when her and her friend go on a late night mission to seek revenge on her cheating boyfriend and his girlfriend. They also break into SeaWorld
