Yesterday my family and I climbed up the Eiffel tower. It was 329 steps to the first landing! At the first landing there was clear glass on the ground so you could look down and see all the people through the floor.

Title of Book or Name of Activity
Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie by Jordan Sonnenblick
3 Sentences
Steven's life is pretty typical for that of an 8th grade boy: having a crush on the hottest girl in the school, playing drums for the school and the All-City jazz band, attaining exceptional grades in all of his classes, and is constantly annoyed by his little brother, Jeffrey. But when Jeffrey is diagnosed with leukemia, Steven's life changes for the worse, now filled with financial difficulty, constant trips to the hospital, and not knowing if Jeffrey is going to ever be okay. This book is one that truly opens your eyes to the realization that this is what many kids have to go through every, single day. Fans of "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl" and books that can make you laugh or cry will love this novel.
Best/Worst Thing
The best thing about this book is Steven's narration is so pure and truthful, making the entire story that much more entertaining. Steven's story manages to somehow feel all the emotion that he is experiencing. The worst part of the book is that you get emotionally attached to some of the characters, so when the book eventually ends, you feel almost disappointed that you have to say goodbye.
