Donna worked with adults and children with speech and language difficulties for more than 20 years before having a stroke and needing speech and language therapy, physical and occupational therapy herself.

Donna received her bachelors and masters degrees from Eastern Michigan University. She is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is a member of the Michigan Speech and Hearing Association. She has worked in hospital, home care, and school settings.
