 In this workshop, instructor Tom Schurino will cover the wide range of government and legal requirements that apply to starting a small business. Topics will include: legal structure, business taxes, employment issues; registration & licenses, small business loans and the SBA; the business plan; government resources, and small business marketing strategies. Schurino is the past director of the Michigan Small Business Development Center for the Muskegon and Flint Michigan Chambers of Commerce. He currently teaches International Business at Muskegon Community College. A $10 registration fee covers program materials. To register, visit LDL’s Public Computing Center on the lower level.
