Description:
 This is a family gardening event with kids hands-on learning about food and nutrition. They will learn valuable skills of health and sustainability to help themselves, their families, and their community today and in the future. Gardening is an opportunity to teach kids where food comes from, how plants grow from seed to harvest and bringing the rewards to the family table. By discovering what fresh-picked, nutrient-rich food tastes like, kids will start to understand and taste the differences between fresh food and processed food, which will help them make healthier choices throughout their lives. Donations accepted- Proceeds will go to Greater Ottawa United Way and Spread the Music.
