"Tables, Labels, and Mail Merge" class

Where: Computer Training Room (behind Periodicals desk)

This free hands-on class is on using Word 2003 to create an address table to merge into mailing labels, letters, and envelopes. Also, learn to make return address labels. Attendees should be proficient with the mouse and have word processing skills covered in Word Processing Pts 1 and 2. Level 3. 2 hours long.

Preregistration is required. Because of space limitations, participants may attend only two workshops per month. If fewer than 3 people are signed up for a class, Lincoln Library reserves the right to cancel the class 24 hours in advance.

"Getting to Know Your Computer" class

Contemporary Readers Book Group

This free hands-on class uses Word 2003 and builds on skills learned in Part 1. Learn to edit a document by selecting text. Cut or copy and paste text. Save a file to a CD or the hard drive. Attendees should possess skills covered in Word Processing Pt 1. Level 2. 1½ hours long.
