Date: 4/30/2018
Start Time: 6:30 PM

Description:
Join the Friends of Lincoln Library when they host John Lynn and enjoy his presentation of “Main Street, Illinois." The product of a 30-year continuing project to capture the many ways our Illinois towns offer Roots, a Hometown, and a Little America for us all, “Main Street, Illinois” is a memorable and fun-filled tour of the charms, traditions, and personalities of our Illinois towns — mostly small towns — led by the only person who has visited and photographed all 2400 of them.

John Lynn, a Peoria, Illinois, native, has photographed all 2400 Illinois cities, villages, and towns. He has also hiked, biked, and canoed enough historic and scenic trails, roads, and rivers in North America and Britain to circle the globe. He has now shared his experiences and discoveries with over 4000 audiences.
