"Internet Intro" class

Description:
This free hands-on class covers how the world wide web is organized and key elements of the Internet Explorer browser. Attendees should have a basic knowledge of Windows and be comfortable using the mouse. Level 2. 1½ hours long.

Preregistration is required. Because of space limitations, participants may attend only two workshops per month. If fewer than 3 people are signed up for a class, Lincoln Library reserves the right to cancel the class 24 hours in advance.

Classes are held in the training room on the third floor of the main library at 326 S. 7th St. When you arrive, go to the Periodicals desk on the third floor.

Parking is available underneath the library for 25¢/half-hour. Parking is free evenings after 5 p.m. and on weekends. Access to the ramp is from 7th St. between the library and the municipal building. On-street parking is also free on evenings and Saturdays.

The training room is often warm. Dressing in layers is advised.
