Description:
 Rabbi Jordan Gendra of Congregation B'nai Tikvah-Beth Israel will explore 4,000 years of Jewish thought on the afterlife through pertinent sacred texts from each era. The practical implications of funeral, burial, and shiva (mourning period), as well as concepts such as heaven and hell, also will be discussed. All are welcome to this free event.
