Event Details

www.fellowpynins.com Fellow Pynins is a contemporary American roots and Appalachian inspired folk duo (Dani Aubert & Ian Van Ornum), who sing original songs in vocal harmony backed with clawhammer banjo, mandolin, guitar and Irish bouzouki. They are a family who make music and life one. Farming, cheesemaking, mead making, mushroom hunting, sewing, printing, and raising a wild child are all part of the life that brings a richness to them and their expression through song. Life has taken them to Oregon and now to the U.K. where they will be studying traditional crafts and music. Much more to come from these two. Their past project was called Patchy Sanders, a 6 piece folk orchestra. This 12-part Spring season of concerts is produced by the Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library, and funded in part by the Friends of Crandall Public Library, and the New York State Council on the Arts - Folk Arts Program.
