Event Details

www.sammoss.net Sam Moss is a Boston-based songwriter and string player. His work rambles through various offshoots of Americana, from original and interpreted folk songs, to pastoral and occasionally jagged instrumental guitar. In May 2016 he released Fable, his 9th solo album, and his work has been featured on NPR, Paste, and Daytrotter, among others. “The best kind of home-made music, intensely personal, deeply felt and well-played with being fussed over” – Jennifer Kelly, Dusted Magazine. “Eerie and beautiful songwriting, ghostly banjo and guitar, Appalachian roots, and deeply softly enchantingly beautiful vocals… If you’re not paying attention to Sam Moss, then you’re missing something great happening” – Devon Leger, No Depression. The free series is produced and hosted by the Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library in the community room downstairs off the Library’s Glen Street entrance, and made possible with funds from the Friends of Crandall Public Library, and the New York State Council on the Arts –Folk Arts Program with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature.
