Event Details

www.thebombadils.com Canadian maritimer Luke Fraser (guitar, mandolin, vocals) and prairie-girl Sarah Frank (fiddle, vocals) share a love of folk songs and fiddle tunes, and the stories and people behind that music. Drawing from the Canadian, American, and Celtic traditions, the two pour the spirit of storytellings, sing-alongs and kitchen parties into their own writing. As the Bombadils they’ve released their first 2 albums, “Fill Your Boots” (2012) and “Grassy Roads Wandering Feet” (2015), and perform in a variety of formations, tonight as a trio with cello vixen Kaitlyn Raitz. The free series is produced and hosted by the Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library in the community room downstairs off the Library’s Glen Street entrance, and made possible with funds from the Friends of Crandall Public Library, and the New York State Council on the Arts –Folk Arts Program with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature.
