Event Details

Calling all community members: Join us for this interactive program that will heighten your understanding of what a survivor or victim of domestic violence faces. <>In Her Shoes, a nationally renowned program, gets participants out of their seats and moving through a simulation that progresses through many events, places, and people… recreating, “in a very compressed period of time, the ups and downs a person living with abuse experiences over the course of many years.” We will also explore: what contributes to a helpful community response? This community program is open to the public (adults) and is being held to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month. It is appropriate for anyone who wants to learn more about the community problem of domestic violence. Facilitated by Domestic Violence Project of Warren & Washington Counties, a program of Catholic Charities. For more information contact Jeanne at 793-6212.
