Live! Folklife Concert: Honey Dewdrops

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Crandall Public Library
Christine L. McDonald Community Room

Event Details

Honey Dewdrops (Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish) share one mic and a hunger to pay attention to what endures. Their fourth full-length album, Tangled Country, is raw and engaging, with characters and images from kindred people and places. And like their stage performance, these new songs rock and reel, and then they console you when you come back down. “...songwriting that strives to honor the simplicity of it’s forebears” –Utne Monthly Reader. www.thehoneydewdrops.com The free series is produced and hosted by the Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library in the community room downstairs off the Library’s Glen Street entrance, and made possible with funds from the Friends of Crandall Public Library, and the New York State Council on the Arts –Folk Arts Program with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature.
