Named after a river both dynamic and powerful, Harpeth Rising’s live performances are high-energy kinetic events. Jordana Greenberg (violin, vocals), Rebecca Reed-Lunn (banjo, vocals) & Maria Di Meglio (cello, vocals) create genre-bending original music with expansive three-part harmonies, consummate musicianship and a deft yet soulful lyrical perspective. “An Americana Sensation” -WSM 650. “The future of original string music...” –Moonlight on the Mountain. Presented by the Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library, and funded in part by the Friends of Crandall Public Library and the New York State Council on the Arts - Folk Arts Program, with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
