Panche Quartet: Andrea Beaton, Donna Hebert, Jane Rothfield, Veronique Plasse www.panachequartet.com Panache Quartet is a new group of four fiery women fiddlers, each with their own performing and recording careers, who have come together, literally crossing borders, merging repertoires and engaging in a fantastic musical conversation! Music with roots from Cape Breton, Old Time, Québecois and Franco-American traditions with deep history and soul. Each member of Panache Quartet writes spectacular original music that is now part of the living tradition! With this amazing repertoire of traditional and original music from their respective genres, Panache plays true roots music with a contemporary twist! Live! Folklife Concerts are produced by the Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library and made possible with funds from the Leo Cox Beach Foundation, the Friends of Crandall Public Library, and the New York State Council on the Arts - Folk Arts Program, with the support of Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature.
