Some 70 years ago Croswell Bowen, Carl Carmer and Margaret Bourke-White explored the Hudson River. The photographs taken and stories collected from its people, were written down in a series of publications: The Hudson (for the Rivers of America series by Carmer), "The Hudson River" (for Life Magazine, October 2, 1939, by Bourke-White), and "Great River of the Mountains: The Hudson" (by Bowen). This exhibition showcases what was found and presented by these artists of "the North River", the upper Hudson north of the Capital District.
