This webinar is designed to help you to better control the 4 major interruptions in the workplace (people, telephones, email and social media) by giving you simple, proven and effective tools and techniques for each of the major interruptions of your time and productivity.

Participants of this webinar will learn and begin to master:

1. How to handle the “in-person” interruptions including the employees and patrons who just want to talk with you and those that always seem to bring you an urgent situation or problem

2. Suggestions for more effectively handling their daily telephone calls and email

Did you hear the news? Frugal is the new normal! In an economic climate of cutting back the library is faced with the challenge of serving more patrons with less staff and resources.

Andrew Sanderbeck will inspire and equip you to make some changes in your library that will make work life a little easier!

The business meeting will focus on CJRLC’S new projects and activities, including the Princeton Public Library’s Books by Mail program and the Training Customers on the Web grants given to Long Branch PL, Mercer County Library and Ocean County Library.

New board members will be introduced, retiring board members will be appreciated for their service to the cooperative and committee work will be updated.

Buffy is a media specialist/teacher-librarian at Creekview High School in Canton, Georgia and is in her 18th year as an educator in the Cherokee County School District.

CJRLC's own April Bunn will join us to talk about "Fighting the Filter," and others will contribute on how they have been "making the case" for their school library! Let's get together!
