Pearson is recognized as a national expert on all aspects of fundraising for libraries, advocacy, and Friends and Foundations. During his time at the helm, he has transformed The Friends from a volunteer organization to a nationally-known and well respected powerhouse. With 18 staff members and an annual budget of $3.4 million, Peter’s organizational savvy, his unstoppable passion for libraries and the City of Saint Paul, and his willingness to knock on every door in support of the library, we are thrilled he can join us. Pearson was elected to the American Library Association Advocacy Honor Roll in 2005.

Friend-raising: Our “friends” are our board members’, stakeholders, advocates and library supporters!
