What is Summer Reading?
Summer means warm days, vacation time, and the chance to win a free book and prizes at your library! Read anything you like for a total of five hours and choose a free book from our selection! Earn other fun prizes as you unlock your hidden powers and explore your community during this super summer!

1st prize:
Read and log 5 hours (300 minutes).
  • Earn:
    • book of your choice.
2nd prize:
Read and log an additional 5 hours for a total of 10 hours (600 minutes)
  • Earn:
    • Prize of your choice
      • double-walled tumbler
      • superhero cape
      • 5 library bucks
    • One entry into the Youth Reading log grand prize drawing

Finished reading? Challenge yourself!

Complete ten challenges to gain one entry into the Challenge log grand prize drawing.
Additional entries can be earned by completing more challenges in groups of ten.*
*Challenges can be repeated.

(Please note: All activities must be logged by August 28 to be eligible for prizes/All prizes may be picked up by September 15, while supplies last.)
