Carter Dickerson, landscape architect from Viox & Viox, will be discussing landscape issues that face historic cemeteries. Old Burlington Cemetery will be used as an example of how to impement best practices for landscape design. In addition, the workshop will also review tombstone preservation and documentation. Beatles tribute band The Sweet Beats will feature Beatles favorites “on location” at the bandstand in Boone Woods Park. Come early, and bring a lawn chair! Rain location is Main Library.
