Remember the Raisin: Boone County and the War of 1812

 Captain Uriel Sebree and his Boone County Company of Kentucky Militia were caught in the Battle of the River Raisin in late January of 1813 near Frenchtown, Michigan. The entire company of 61 men were either killed or captured in the resulting massacre by British and Native American forces. Join Presenter Tom Schiffer as we commemorate this significant event in Boone County's history.
