A free slide show presentation of a journey from the plains of India to the Himalayas - to the Gangotri Glacier from which the Ganges River originates. The presentation will be based on the book Sacred River: A Himalayan Journey by local author Debu Majumdar, who will be presenting. The path will cover New and Old Delhi, Dehra Dun, Mussoorie, Uttarkashi, Gangotri, and Gaumukh. This program is co-sponsored by the Bellingham Public Library, and all are welcome to attend.
