Event Details

Learn how to make the best use of textile resources by rescuing your clothing from the ragpile. In September and October, presenter Susan Witter will demonstrate what to do with a t-shirt. T shirts aren’t predictable any more! Bring a T shirt to experiment on; if you don't have a spare, there will be some provided. Useful tools to bring along: scissors, buttons, trim material that you like. During November and December the sessions will be: Put a Pocket On It! Bring pants, skirts, dresses, or shirts that you wish had pockets, and we’ll see what we can do. Bring a sewing machine if you have one, although one will be provided if you don't. Also, bring pocket material, if you have some available. As always, bring any other items in need of sewing repair to any session, and Susan will see what can be done!
