Dr. David Kincheloe has taught courses in patient-centered care, psychology, social psychology, research methods, and epidemiology at universities in 18 countries over the last 25 years. Motivational Interviewing is a skill set which allows one person to assist another in exploring and resolving their ambivalence about changing a behavior without evoking resistance, and it can be learned and practiced in almost any context, with beneficial results for clients, patients, colleagues and even friends and family members.
