Hidden Children of the Holocaust: Belgian Nuns and Their Daring Rescue of Young Jews from the Nazis
Review
Disappointing. Vague. Repetitive. Insufficient detail. I think the biggest problem with this book is that the author waited too long to do the research/interviews and so many of the people were already dead. This means that the number of interviews was very limited. Also, although she states she is a sociologist and apparently only interested in that aspect, the psychological impact on the hidden children should have been addressed.

The book is in serious need of a good editor.  Hidden children of the Holocaust : Belgian nuns and their daring rescue of young Jews from the Nazis / Suzanne Vromen.

This Was Not the Plan
Review
I had a difficult time getting into this fiction book by Cristina Alger. Perhaps it was because I didn't exactly relate to the main character Charlie as much as I like to when engaging with a story. It was a quick, easy read regardless of that fact. The storyline touched on family, friends, parenthood, love, self-expression and what it looks like to live a meaningful life.  This was not the plan / Cristina Alger.
Against all odds : a novel / Danielle Steel.

Against all Odds - Danielle Steel
Review
What can I say, Danielle Steel is one of my favorite authors. I enjoy every book that she puts out.  Against all odds : a novel / Danielle Steel.
Barefoot : a novel / Elin Hilderbrand.

Barefoot(Elin Hilderbrand)/Adult Reading
Review
This is the 6th book that I have read by Elin Hilderbrand; I wanted light reading for the summer. This was my least favorite of them because it was very predictable. I will take a break from this author and may come back in a few months.   Barefoot : a novel / Elin Hilderbrand.
