 Law in the Library: Elder Law - Protecting Yourself and Your Assets - Speakers Sam W. Boone, Esq., Shannon Miller, Esq., and Nancy Baldwin, Esq., will address the following topics: Medicaid qualification, the importance of an estate plan and probate, overview of the Affordable Care Act, and fraud against the elderly.

The Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association partners with the Alachua County Library District to present Law in the Library. During these free presentations experienced attorneys and professionals share their knowledge on a variety of pertinent legal issues and library staff help inform the public about the legal resources available to the public in the John A.H. Murphree Law Library. This law library located at Headquarters includes the Florida Bar Journal (2009 to present), Florida Cases, Florida Law Weekly, the Florida Statutes plus the Nolo’s small business essentials series and the WestLawNext (only available at Headquarters, Law Depot and Gale Legal Forms databases.
