Library: Alachua County Library District - Headquarters Headquarters Library Gordon spent his career as a law professor and legal consultant, traveling and lecturing. He also served on panels that resolved trade disputes between Mexico and Canada. Upon retirement, he and his wife and his dog (Macduff) took to the roads and the rivers of the Western United States. This is where he found his inspiration. He also worked with Project Healing Waters, taking combat wounded disabled vets to fly fish on the Yellowstone as part of their therapy. He is also a hero in his own right, having taken part in a river rescue of three boaters. Gordon will be reading from and signing his first novel: Deadly Drifts.
